An idle cop gets curious about a fight/fitness club whose tagline promises strange results.

“Fight Like a Girl” , read the banner. “Learn to fight like a girl”, read the complete tagline. Who would want to fight like a girl?,he wondered as he stood surveying the curious banner hung on a corroded red metal gate. Who would want to NOT fight. Fighting like a girl meant not fighting at all. Didn’t wannabe female fighters strive for few alpha traits in order to succeed and win bouts? Those resembling the most to their men counter-parts, are often the best in this line.
So, why should anyone fight like a girl? Its an insult. No legitimate fight club in their right mind would have such a tacky tagline. What are they even thinking?, he laughed to himself. As he was about to move on, he saw someone walking towards the gate. He quickly started walking away in order to not be seen by this unknown person from the inside. As he heard the gates clink open and shut, he stole a quick glance. A man had exited the gate and was now walking away in the opposite direction. A man! A man is a member of such a pussy club?, he began to consider. Do they take men? Or rather which real man would want to even enter the gates of such a “club”?
He did not realize that he had changed his direction and was now almost following this strange man. He was at a comfortable distance from him. The night was dark anyway but the absence of functional street lights made his surroundings darker. But it was an advantage here. The strange man won’t be able to spot him easily. After a few paces of walking, he felt that someone was coming from behind. He turned around. It appeared to be a silhouette of a petite woman. He slowed his pace to let her pass. But she did not. She slowed her’s down too. It was weird. He tried again after a couple of more steps. Again she did not overtake him. In this puzzlement he did not let the strange man out of his sight though. Oh, so you want to play like this?. You little bitch, I will show you what a real man is?
In reality he was a little scared. No one was in sight. Not even an animal. All this was uncalled for. Does she know I am following this strange man? Is she coming for me?
As he was grappling with these urgent questions, the strange man walking in the front took a 180 degree turn and started walking straight towards him. He froze. He could feel the petite woman closing in on him. oh no! Both of them.. two people are coming for me?? Am I being mob attacked? He tried to make quick judgements.Human mind being the human mind, he searched for his service revolver in his pants. He was a cop, and he had the right to use it while fighting so called anti-social elements.
The next few seconds were a blur.
The petite woman dashed towards the strange man. The man was in a pool of blood with a knife sticking out from his neck.
She just fought like a girl, he shuddered.
