Some people are just bad at gifting. Period.

DISCLAIMER: This author does not intend to hurt the feelings of any Human Resource(HR) professional. This is purely meant to be consumed as a pointless rant of a mediocre and incompetent chic.

As everyone wraps up (or rather wrap open) their respective Secret Santa gifts this Christmas 2019, here is an honest HR e-mail which I never received. :-l

DEAR (insert company name) employees!!

HO HO HOH OH OH NO NO NO

It’s time to spread disappointment! Its time folks.

Open Secret Santa is here!!! Aren’t you ready yet??

Pick a sad colleague rather openly whom you barely even know and depress him or her by gifting them a disastrous little gift.

Go on and make them cringeeeeee!!!

Make sure to keep your angel/beneficiary an open secret and discuss the hell out of it with your co workers. You can even re-use and re-gift if you are forced to surprise a co-worker whose guts you can’t stand. Don’t bother about spending your hard earned money on that obnoxious, undeserving colleague who got better raise than you. Save your money slaves!

Indulge your laziness and buy the cheapest gift possible, but be sure to expect your Open/Not-So-Secret  Santa to get you the most fanciest gift. After all YOU deserve the best and the most luxurious gift out there. Don’t care about the rest. Just chill.

And participate in this half-hearted HR exercise and help us spread corporate warmth this holiday season.

OH OH OH NO NO NO NO????
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

P.s: Enjoy the free snacks and beverages at your own risk. 😛

Regards,
Valuable Team HR
